My Story
From a young age, Dr. Soloman Almadi was driven by curiosity and a desire to solve complex challenges through technology. That passion led him to earn a PhD in Simulation and Computing from Brunel University London, setting the foundation for a career at the intersection of innovation, leadership, and impact. Today, as a Principal Scientist at Saudi Aramco, he spearheads advancements in OT cybersecurity, process control systems, and digital transformation, ensuring industries are safer, smarter, and more resilient in the face of change.
Beyond his role at Aramco, Dr. Almadi’s influence extends globally. He is an ISA Fellow, an Executive Board Member of the International Society of Automation, and a mentor to the next generation of engineers as an Adjunct Professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. With over 25 inventions, 50+ scholarly publications, and multiple patents, his work has been recognized through prestigious awards such as the King’s Award for Inventors and ISA’s Inventor of the Year. Yet, his journey is not only about technical breakthroughs—it is about empowering others, from advancing women engineers in Saudi Arabia to guiding students and professionals worldwide through mentorship, coaching, and leadership programs.
Dr. Almadi’s story is one of vision, perseverance, and service. He believes that innovation is not just about creating technology but about shaping a future where knowledge, security, and collaboration empower communities.
